Bhavik Gandhi rows across Atlantic unassistedIndian rower Bhavik Gandhi followed the same route as Christopher Columbus took when he went in search of India and found America instead, to become the first person to row across the Atlantic Ocean unassisted. He set out from La Restinga (on the island of El Hierro) in the Canary Islands for a gruelling journey lasting 106 days to Antigua on his boat 'Miss Olive'.
